Austin Rattray

Austin has lived in Waihi since 1990, but has spent many months in the last few years traveling the world. Austin throughout school did lighting and sound work for many productions and also acted when he could. From there he continued this theatre working and became Technical director for the Waihi Wearable arts, which also included being stage manager during show nights. Austin has also had a keen interest in computer technologies since he was young, and is all self-taught. From a young age he has been teaching people how to get more out of their computer, whilst still keeping it simple for the end user. Austin grew this hobby and turned it into a business, opening Bay Technology Services 2008 Ltd. From here Austin has continued to work in the local and surrounding communities, working for local Radio stations, schools and other businesses with both computer technologies and event solutions.

Austin Plans on continuing his work, building his business into other areas and continuing to provide a quality, personal service.
